Artwork guidelines

Vector files engrave best: AI, EPS, SVG, or a PDF with live vector artwork. Vector has no fixed resolution, so it stays sharp at any size on the piece.

If vector is all your design team has on file, that is the version to send — not a screenshot of it.

Engraving is a single-depth mark. It cannot reproduce gradients, drop shadows, glows, transparency, or photographic detail — those all come out as either solid or absent.

Very fine lines and small text also tend to fill in. If your logo has a tagline set below 6pt at final size, we will usually suggest dropping it rather than engraving something illegible.

We can work from a high-resolution PNG or JPEG — ideally 1000px or more on the longest edge, on a plain background. We convert it to a clean single-colour outline before engraving.

We will tell you honestly if a file will not reproduce well. Sending it back is cheaper for everyone than engraving fifty pieces badly.

Pick the “Logo / Image” tab while personalizing your piece — a piece takes either a logo or a text engraving, not both. Logo engraving is a flat $19.99 fee, added to your order automatically. Then email your file to clickmygift@gmail.com with your order number, and our team will reach out to confirm it before production starts.
